[Event report] I went to BISHU COLLECTION produced by TGC ☆

On Saturday, November 11, 2023, we participated in the Tokyo Girls Collection produced event "BISHU COLLECTION produced by TGC" held in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture!

What is BISHU COLLECTION produced by TGC?

Ichinomiya City, the center of Bishu, one of the world's three largest wool-producing regions, is collaborating with the TGC Regional Revitalization Project at the first two-day "BISHU FES." Together with the local community, we aim to create a one-of-a-kind, sustainable fashion festival produced by TGC that will become an autumn tradition.

What? A fashion show at a shrine?

The event will be held at Masumida Shrine.

This is the first time that an event produced by TGC will be held at a shrine! 👀

Also, Mr. Chocolat, the owner of Lococo, I arrived at the shrine excited when I heard that I would be appearing as a designer for Bishu Lolita !

As I waited, holding back my enthusiasm, the worship and exorcism began.

The program starts with a ritual, something you can only find at a shrine ✨

Bishu fabric is full of possibilities!

And finally, the runway of models wearing Bishu fabric began.

At that time, my image of Bishu fabric was ``plain and simple,'' but after seeing this stage, it changed 180 degrees.

The costumes illuminated by the spotlight shone not only in black, but also in red, yellow, blue, pink, and iridescent colors, and I was amazed to see how the fabrics used for suits can be so vivid and gorgeous.

In addition to colors, various patterns such as tweed and plaid patterns were incorporated, and I never got tired of looking at them✨

There were lots of ribbons and frills made from colorful Bishu fabrics next to the stage, and it was so cute🎀

That's why I'm fascinated by Bishu...

I couldn't believe we were in the same space, but I never wanted to forget them, so I stared at them for as long as I thought they would make a hole. lol

After the song ended, Chocolat also appeared in the interview and talked about the key points he focused on this time.

The patch with the FRUITS ZIPPER logo, the scrunchie in member colors, and even the shoes are made from Bishu fabrics.
